About

Welcome to my profile. You have taken the courageous step towards finding a therapist. This can be a daunting task and I fully understand that knowing where to start can be confusing. Choosing the right therapist is very important and building a good relationship is dependent on the choice you make.

I am Psychodynamic Psychotherapist, which means I work with clients to help facilitate an awareness of themselves and unconscious processes. In other words, our reactions, thoughts and feelings have developed from childhood experience. Psychodynamic therapy gives us an opportunity to form a deeper understanding of ourselves. It can help us see why we repeat difficult relationships, why we struggle with depression and anxiety, why we may suffer loss greater than others and so on.

I offer a compassionate and confidential space where you can explore what feels troubling and difficult. I am here to listen and guide you through difficulties from the past or present, to enable a better understanding of yourself and develop a capacity to deal with life's challenges. It takes courage to come to therapy and working with clients is a privilege. I hope the next step to therapy will be as transformational in your life as it has been in mine.
