About
I am a BACP registered couples and individual therapist offering therapy in North London and online. My work is relational, thoughtful, and grounded in psychodynamic thinking, with a particular focus on how our emotional lives are shaped through relationships, family histories, identity, culture, and the wider world around us. I trained at Tavistock Relationships, the specialist couples therapy institute, where I also work as a visiting clinician, with my qualification awarded through Birkbeck, University of London. I bring previous experience from Mind and the Anna Freud Centre, including work in trauma-informed services, race equity, and wider mental health.
I work with couples who feel caught in painful patterns, including repeated arguments, emotional distance, loss of trust, difficulties with communication, intimacy, sex, parenting, wider family pressures, or the feeling that you keep missing each other despite wanting to be close. My couples work is not about deciding who is right, but about slowing down what happens between you so the relationship dynamic can be better understood and repair can become more possible.
I also work individually with people experiencing anxiety, low mood, self criticism, relationship struggles, family patterns, burnout, identity questions, racialised stress, or the feeling of coping outwardly while struggling inside. As a mixed Black therapist, I bring particular sensitivity to experiences around race, culture, belonging, power, difference, and the parts of ourselves that can feel unseen or hard to name.
