Children, young people and adults
I am a Clinical Psychologist registered with the HCPC. I have over 12 years experience working across a variety of NHS and private care settings. I specialise in helping people manage low mood, anxiety, relationship difficulties, intrusive thoughts, school difficulties and trauma. I work with children, families and adults. I have also worked for larger organisations to support the delivery of wellbeing initiatives in the finance sector. I focus on helping people develop skills to manage their emotions.
I work collaboratively with clients, adapting my approach to suit the individual needs of the child, family or adult I am supporting. I have been trained to use a range of therapeutic models, in particular Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and Systemic (Family) Therapy.
I am valued for being a highly motivated, passionate and committed therapist. My practice is to create a safe and supportive space in which to explore difficulties through a therapeutic alliance. To help you make the first step, I offer a free initial telephone consultation to discuss any questions or concerns you might have
