About
I am a HCPC registered clinical psychologist with over 12 years' experience working in the NHS with adults, children and families. I understand that life can bring a variety of challenges; familiar and repeating or something new, sudden and unexpected. Whatever it is that has brought you here, I can offer my experience and expertise to help us build a trusting therapeutic relationship and help you work towards your goals.
I have experience of working with adults who have experienced stress and burnout, low self-esteem, trauma, anxiety, low mood, and adjustment difficulties. I am also experienced in helping adults with relationship challenges, exploring patterns that may be repeating and helping to build healthier and more fulfilling experiences in relationships.
In my work I draw on a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), EMDR and attachment theory. I work in a holistic way, drawing on the best evidence to support you and give you the tools and techniques you need to feel better.
I appreciate that it’s not always easy to ask for help, so first and foremost my priority is to provide a safe space where you feel comfortable to speak. We will work together to understand what is going on for you and help you towards your goals.
