About
Feeling overwhelmed; anxiety is on the rise; heart is continuously racing; having constant negative thoughts and your usual survival techniques are not working; then please, stop, pause and breathe. These are signs that it may be a good time to seek help and if you are reading this right now, then you are already taking that first step.
I am a person-centred therapist, but I like to also integrate other modalities to suit your personal needs as everyone is individual. I offer a safe place for you to explore your emotions, feelings and behaviours ensuring at all times that I am practicing safely and ethically. It is your space to bring whatever you feel where I will listen with patience and understanding. You know yourself best and I will support you in building your own strategies to help you work through your own life challenges.
Having over 24 years of experience as a secondary school teacher in education, I work closely with young people, supporting them through any mental health concerns, during their time in education. I also have experience working with a wide range of clients who are dealing with anxiety, depression, burnout, stress and low self-esteem to name a few. Life is complex and sometimes you just cannot do it alone. This is where I hope to be able to help you find who you really are and your full potential.
