About
I am a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist trained at the British Association of Psychotherapists (now British Psychotherapy Foundation) and a full member of the Association of Child Psychotherapists. I have worked for 25 years in NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) with toddlers, children, teenagers and their families and now also work in private practice. I have experience of working with a wide range of emotional, behavioural, social and developmental difficulties such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, self-harm as well as with difficulties at school, having been part of a management team for a CAMHS in Schools Service for a number of years.
Specialisms:
I have particular experience with parents and their children under 5 having worked since 2017 in a specialist Early Years Service. I also have extensive experience and interest in working with adolescents and young people from the ages of 12 to 25 years old, and their parents.
