About

I am an accredited BACP registered child and adolescent therapist with experience supporting children, young people, and families within educational and clinical settings. I offer a warm, safe, and supportive therapeutic space where young people can feel heard, understood, and accepted.

My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, combining person-centred, psychodynamic, CBT, and creative approaches tailored to the individual needs of each child or young person. Alongside talking therapy, I use creative and play-based interventions to support emotional expression and development in ways that feel comfortable and age-appropriate.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a primary school teacher, which gives me a strong understanding of child development, attachment, and the emotional challenges children and young people can face within school and family life.

I currently work as a Senior Therapist within a trauma service, supporting children and adolescents experiencing trauma, anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, neurodivergence, low self-esteem, bereavement, and family-related challenges.

Therapy can provide children and young people with a space where they do not have to manage difficult feelings alone.

Specialist interest:

I have particular experience supporting children and young people with trauma, attachment difficulties, anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, and neurodivergence. I am especially passionate about creating developmentally appropriate and emotionally safe therapeutic spaces where children and young people can express themselves freely through both talking and creative approaches.

I also have a strong interest in supporting parents alongside their children and understanding the wider systems around the young person, including family relationships, education, and emotional wellbeing.
